Co-mingled recycling collections

Fortress Recycling is leading the way in recycling with the very latest technology available. Very shortly we will be able to offer the following service.

A dedicated recycling container, sufficient in volume to cope with all the customers material for recycling is to be provided. The cardboard and paper, plastic, glass and cans for recycling can then be placed in a single dedicated receptacle which is clearly marked and colour coded with a green lid. The container will then collected on the agreed scheduled day(s) and transported to a fully automated recycling centre for processing. Here the materials collected are separated through a series of high tech processes involving belts/magnets , eddy current separators and material recognition cameras linked to air blowers before being baled into completely separate steams of recycled material. There is very little manual work involved in the process.
